Dr. Michael Smith joined Kansas City Physician Partners in 2012. Originally from upstate New York, He earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at University of Missouri Kansas City, where he served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete his Rheumatology fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Rheumatology and primarily sees patients at our Lee’s Summit location.
Dr Smith enjoys treating all aspects of rheumatologic diseases and finds joy in helping his patients find answers and improve their quality of life.
Dr Smith is an avid soccer fan and enjoys watching his daughters play, as well as catching a Sporting KC or KC Current game with his family.
